The old server only had 3 gigabytes of ram. I got it because of the large storage and I didn't think the site would get big but almost a year later and the site used the same decrepit server which constantly runs out of memory every hour and causes that shitty database error. I was too lazy to migrate but the downtime finally gave me an excuse to do so, so now the server has 8gb of ram now and an extra core, from 1 to 2! Enjoy this nu server
As for why the downtime was too long, I was waiting patiently for the server providers to reply to my support tickets but they were clearly unreliable so I had to waste an entire late afternoon / evening setting another server up for you SLFs and I don't even get a thank you?! YIKES. Say thank you now or I will personally pull the plug on the server
